Default Re: Fall Chevy/ Vettefest L78 display

In just a few more days, (November 17-18, 2007), we’ll be among the countries finest Chevrolet’s, Corvettes and the very best related Vendors in the world…and this is seriously no lie!

Nearly 400,000 square feet of exhibit space in Rosemont’s Donald E. Stephens Convention Center will be overflowing, and that is a LOT of space. (I know, I was in the building today going over some details with my Event Coordinator and walking the floors!). It seems that nearly everyone is pumped about our return to Rosemont. The phones have been ringing off the hook with excited participants and spectators alike.

We have received even MORE awesome donations for our very first Benefit Silent Auction which takes place Saturday and Sunday with bids closing each day at 4pm. Tom Bauer donated some beautiful vintage license plates, Stardust Productions Marian Grey is kicking in an On-Site color portrait of your car and we have some fantastic Sports Memorabilia too! Glassworks own Joe Chernay has locked in the all the final details with Duane Mayer of American Hot Rod, and Duane is excited about joining us Saturday. Remember, Duane is doing this at his OWN EXPENSE to help spread the word about Inflammatory Brest Cancer Awareness, (IBCARF) and we certainly appreciate that! Be sure to stop by, get an autograph and picture and say THANKS to Duane and to Joe and his crew too!

And speaking of giving, in addition to the great stuff Stefano Bimbi and the Nickey Chicago crew have donated for the auction, they have also made special arrangements to GIVE AWAY 500 Nickey Chicago Posters each day to the first 500 spectators through he door. This Limited Edition frame-able 11x17” poster is a real keeper and you will be able to have Don Swiatek, the ORIGINAL High Performance Cars and Parts Manager form the ORIGINAL Nickey! Don will be joining us Saturday and Sunday and introducing the wild Vintage Continuation Series 1965 Cheetah/Don Swiatek Edition.

Over the last few weeks I have told you about many of the neat NEW Features and some of the Great Cars and Vendors that will be at the show, and believe me, each e-mail has been just a small sampling of what will be at the show. Our crew has worked many long hours making sure that this is indeed the BEST and BIGGEST SHOW YET and I can proudly say we are all ready to go.

We hope you’ll join us Saturday and Sunday. Public Show Hours are 9am – 6pm daily. Tickets are available at the door for $14, kids 12 and under enter FREE with Adults. Please view our website www.chevyvettefest.net for more details, a vendor list, maps and directions, pictures of many of the cars and also explanation of our Judging.

See You at the Show!
