Default What can Pypes do for you?

I've received numerous PM's about my escapade at GIR last Friday, so here's the scoop.

My previous best run was in 2005, which was:

2.22 in the 60'
14.25 ET
98.69 MPH

This year I came with a new exhaust system installed, but didn't change anything else. I kept the same engine tune, never even looked at the timing, curve, or jetting. I used the same wheels/tires, same manifolds/smog, same springs/clamps, etc... I did not change my driving style, no sidestepping /stabbing the clutch, or flatshifting. I did remove my tach this year, I shifted by 'feel'. So, the only change was the Pypes = 2.5" mandrel bent, X pipe, sans resonators, crossflow muffler in the stock location and tailpipes exiting in the stock location.

The first run off the trailer on Friday was the best, air was decent as was the traction. The car went:

2.10 in the 60'
13.50 ET
104.11 MPH

That's an improvement of over 7 tenths and 5 mph!! I like Pypes There is more in there if I could drive

Mel Bogus wrote 'GO FAST, STAY SAFE' on my air cleaner - that couldn't hurt either
