Default Re: 1970 nova L78 - flowmaster exhaust

Hmmmm..... I forgot about those Cragar end tables.... I'll have to see what I can do over the winter.....

Yea, that Pypes exhaust system rocks! I've got the proto-type on my car, it really works! I did nothing else to the car, and it picked up .75 in the ET and about 6mph - that's huge!

If we get some better weather, I'm supposed to take bunch of digi-pics of me and the car with a nice backdrop for their ad campaign. We'll see though, today's weather is not helping for any pics this weekend!

The system has a transverse muffler, two in two out, with the entry/exits at the ends of the muffler. The flowmaster transverse muffler has the entry into the top, and exits from the ends - totally gay. The tailpipes are the key to this system looking stock in my opinion, bec/ that is the only part that 90% of the people see. When you have round pipe, polished up nicely, angle cut at the tip, and exiting in the stock location - it's practically foolproof. The only way to tell that it's not stock is to notice the diameter of the pipe itself - the originals were 2" and these are 2.5". So, kudo's to them for getting it right!

Well worth the money in my opinion.
