Most cops have told me they use the old addage "9 is fine, but at 10 you're mine". If you are driving more than 15 over on the interstate in Ohio, you can be charged with reckless operation of a vehicle. At 20 over, you're really asking for trouble, even if there is no traffic around. Driving in excess of 85mph may be fun, and I am not going deny ever doing it, but there have been some horrific wrecks here on the freeways by people thinking that they can drive that fast in traffic.
I can't tell you the number of times I've been passed on the right by somebody who doesn't want to be behind the truck in the right lane, but who is blissfully unaware of the traffic pattern ahead of me. If I let them in, I risk having them brake in front of me, which makes me at fault if I rear end them.

If I don't, my wife screams at me for exhibiting road rage.

Please obey the posted speed limit. Sort of.
