Ohio has a one time charge for antique plates

, and if you register an Ohio year of manufacture plate, you can drive with it as long as the antique plate is in the car.
I've never seen an out of state plate, like the CA black plate, used in place of the OH tags.

I have seen a street rod with a '32 OH tag airbrushed on the trunk, and unless you're 3' away, you would think it was real.
