A friend of mine was there. He qualified for the Quick 64 in his '71 Mach 1 (yeah, I know), but said they had all kinds of troubles/delays. First run Sunday morning at 10:30, second round not until well after 2:30. He left at 4:30 for the long tow back home.
Oil downs, timing lite trouble, etc., etc. However, he did win the Jeg's Crate engine donated by Parrish/Heacock......... a tricked out SBC!!!! (maybe it will find it's way into the Pony!
