This time capsule was state of the art as people watched it on their Black and White tube TV (4 stations), the civil rights act was passed, forced integration started. Just because the car came out in worse shape than projected there is no reason to shout fraud. Did the town make money Yes . Did the town spend money Yes, did they recoupe what they spent on the original investment and all the activites involved with the celebration maybe, when You factor all the original costs and then the costs of everything involved with removing it,promoting the celebration.
Whats with Boyd ,he had an Auction very close to there and if You received one of his books the other auctions should take a look at a very well presented and described brochure thet wasn't free to have made. Can't we all just get along.
