That '61 is a very low production model. Impala 2-dr Sedan. 'Ol Reliable-I was a Biscayne. Car seems to be in very good shape for a '61. The Impala interior in that body style is also unique, not reproduced at all. That one looks like it could be saved too! Looks like a standard 250hp 348, but for what it's worth, the grille emblem is for a 6cyl.
Thanks for the pics Dog. IF you go back there, grab the VIN from the driver's door jam and the cowl tag info (behind the LH inner fender on the firewall).... I'd like to add it to the dbase if possible.

By the way, total production of that body style is
1711 6cyl: 4,949
1811 8cyl: 6,770
