Default Re: 70 Torino GT, Matching 429 Thunderjet, 4 Speed

You are right,
I should not compare my Torino GT to the one that Sold at Barrett Jackson.
Mine has taken
2nd Place at the Fairlane/Torino National Meet 2004
Best Detailed at Hillsdale 2005
Best Closed Muscle Car- Fairfield County Concours 2006
was featured in
Hemmings Muscle Machines - November 2005
Is in 2007 Muscle Car Calendar http://www.browntrout.com
May 2007 car.
Oh, Mine is One of 17 Torino's Verified as Correct, and Signed by Mr Bill Shenk, the man who designed the 1970-71 Torino, and is in the "Shenk Signature Series" #17 of 17 as an offshoot of the Fairlane Torino Club. Mr Shenk decoded my buildsheets and signed them in his own handwritting.
I could keep going, but I will run out of space.
My car has Provenance. The one at B-J, NaDa!
And as The Marti Report people say, almost every car they certify turns out to be a 1 of 1, by Color, Engine and options.
Yes, I should not compare My Torino GT to the one at B-J...
Mine is significantly better.
