Actually, yes - but only 1 - Its funny I raced there for years and never was really hassled by the cops - but one night we were watching from above and the cops came and wrote everyone jay walking tickets. We were standing on the island looking down and their contention was we could not cross the street so we were jay walking. It was a BS ticket you had to appear at the court house in Starrett City to pay!
It wasn't fun either when the Fire Department would park up there and hose the street down every ten minutes or so! But I guess that and missing the Hoyt Ave exit and having to pay 2 tolls to get back were the admission cost back then.
