Funny you should mention disasembly and repair of TCS switch.
I could not find one on ebay at the time so I took mine apart because it did not work. there is a mountin of fine copper wire rolled up inside the switch. Be carefull taking it apart, making sure you see how the wires are placed on the terminals. then you should unroll the copper wire onto another spool just like fishing line. Yes you could use a fishing reel to take the line off of the tcs. then repair the broken wire, when you find it.Respool the wire back onto the tcs switch slowly with a battery drill to respool it onto the tcs switch. Then resolder the end onto the terminal. clean up the plunger and spring. Then get the Case
replated. Then replace the parts onto the tcs switch and use a little light silicone lub on the spring. Put the end back on the switch and carefuly bend the tabs back into the original location. Then in order to make the switch look just like new get some cutting tool protective dip from the local srew and bolt suplier, and put some on the wire that
is soldered onto the terminals.Oh yes test it before you
completely close it up again.
good luck
Peter
