Out for most of the day. There is no problem lighting the entire cabinet as the light is on the far left side of the cabinet. Problem occurs when you put an item in the middle and most of the right side of the object is cast in shadow. Sounds like other model mentioned earlier addresses this with two lights. Not a big deal, but 2 lights should be in there in order to ensure you have blasted everything. It is not real noisy - not as noisy as an average shop vac. I did not consider it a factor. Unless of course you have folks sleeping in your shop area
