Only thing in our favor ( as a free people ) is that we are
allowed to posses guns to "defend ourselves". The Gov't is
always semi-worried about a civilian uprising if they get
too far out of control on taxes, regulations, etc.. Why else
do you think we are not allowed to own automatic weapons and
the like. That would be considered superior firepower.
My biggest fear in the attempt to get all handguns, then
long rifles is that once that happens, taxes and regulations
will get out of control. What ability would we have to stop
it then? Vote someone out of office?
