That beautiful blue with blue/white interior 1965 Corvette roadster with 21,000 miles and a 365 horse motor sold at Bloomington for about 160K to 170K last summer and it was an amazing car with good options. That is getting into uncharted waters, even on a nice car like that. It was certainly one of the best original Corvettes I've ever seen. I believe it bit to 170K with a no sale a few weeks ago at Mecum.

Tim, I think we can agree that unrestored cars are not for everyone. A few year back at the judging convention in TX there was a stunning blue/blue '66 L72 convertible that many believe is one of, if not the best unrestored L72 in the country. Its been for sale for months now at $375,000. It is going to take a very serious buyer who understands the glory of an unrestored car to bring it home. I let my '66 350hp unrestored, original owner car go for mid $60k's and I'm kicking myself for letting it go. But again, it took a serious buyer to understand the nature of the beast. I personally love unrestored cars but many, many guys perfer the show-shine of a restored car.
