Default Re: ebay scam alert (just letting you know)

After the last thread on this topic a few months back, I sent eBay a message asking why they can't use double passwords...a Standard one you use for everything all the time and Master one which you never use unless hacked that can over-ride the Standard one to gain control back yourself even if the Standard password has been changed by the hacker..

I was emailed back from an eBay security guy and we had a couple emails that were very positive and he was asking questions to confirm exactly what I thought also admitting it was something they should implement..

Then I got an email from eBay Legal Dept telling me something to the effect of since my first email and thoughts to 'enhance security' was originally unsolicited by them I would not be compensated for it if implemented by eBay and how I needed to start a legal claim if I thought I should be also the message included a buncha' other legal jazz I didn't read closely..

I responded telling them when I had first emailed them I was most interested in the security itself and how I could care less about compensation nor wanted to start a legal case also they should worry more about the legal battles they're going to keep getting hit with if they don't do something soon and how I'd be happy to just have the feature happening on my own account!.

Never heard from them again after that?.
