Default Re: 1969 DOCUMENTED BALDWIN MOTION CORVETTE

Looks same Corvette that was on Team Camaro . This one was located near Dayton, NJ. If so, a friend met with a fellow , named Bob, who was selling it for the owner and looked it over pretty good. Vin # 194379S717xxx has Cure Ride shocks, center traction bar, dual Holley fuel pumps & probably has the original paint. No engine, trans or interior. No tank sticker, build sheet, badging or vintage pics. Didn't get to see the title either.
We were told (by Bob) that the person who actually owned it contacted Joel, but Joel would not verify that it was one of his cars, so we passed at $25K.
So, I guess the million dollar question, or in this case a $275K question, is 'what kind of factual documentation does Joel have on this particular car?' And, 'why wouldn't he verify it for the past owner?'
I realize that since I did not speak with the past owner directly about his conversation with Joel I'm sticking my neck out by posting this. But, I have yet to be convinced that Mr Rosen currently has any documentation, like work orders, on any of the recent cars he has verified. Hell, I'd feel better if he'd flown to the car's destination & visually inspected the car instead of (apparently) just looking at some pictures.
