there is a good reason Osama is for the democratic party, it spells freedom for him to do what he wishes.

He's had that freedom for five years, thanks to Bush backing-off on killing him. OBN is laughing because he got what he wanted--a U.S. invasion of an Arab country. He's happy in his sanctuary in northern Afghanistan/Pakistan where they all love him as a Muslim hero and a true holy warrior. He has all the time he needs to plan another attack or just live as a celebrity among his people. Bush will be long-gone and OBN will still be chillin' in small villages, well protected by thousands of Afghan and Pakistani warlords.

What I want to know is why Bush went from wanting OBN "dead or alive" ("smoking them out" of their caves) to saying "I really don't think that much about him." We went from pounding their asses with B-52s in Tora Bora to suddenly backing-off and heading out to Iraq. Why? I mean, we HAD him.

I respect opposing opinions Rich but you really can't believe that the election of Democrats helps al Quaeda? I mean, do you really believe that? How would it be any worse than President Bush backing-off and practically forgetting about bin Laden?

If anyone has emboldened the enemy it's the Bush administration. They backed-off killing bin Laden and then invaded an Arab country just as bin Laden wanted us to do, setting up an al Queda training ground where none had existed before. Now they can kill us over there instead of having to come over here to do it.
