When my uncle graduated in 1967 he wanted a new 427 vette, Gramps suprised him with a new 1967 GTX 440 4speed red with black, the brat wouldnt drive or even look at the car for weeks, I dont things were ever the same between him and my father (the older brother who didnt get a car) since.

When I was 14 (yes 14) I used all of my saved-up birthday money from my entire life and bought a very used 69 Z11 Pace Car. My dad of course had to sign the paperwork. When we (barely) got it home my mom comes out in the driveway and says to dad: "You know he's 14 and his brother is the one that just turned 16!" My dad looks at me and says: "Really?" He had mixed up our ages (there are 5 of us) Anyway, my brother got the better end of the deal. Three weeks later they helped him buy a Van Nuys built Daytona Yellow 69 SS396 four speed Camaro that was just an amazing car. I've been jealous ever since!

P.S. I let my 11 year old daughter see that video and even she wanted to slap the spoiled brat. (She already knows she's eventually getting her great grandmother's one-owner 1975 Firebird that's sitting in our garage...when she's about 30 years old. Oh, and it's BLUE not red)
