Default Re: 1966 Corvette 427/425 roadster / not yet completed

To answer a few more questions.....

What does or doesn't come with the car???
Actually, I'm pretty flexible in that area. While I do have lots of NOS parts, etc. that could be included, I'm also fine with not including them as well. Price is to be adjusted based on what the final package ends up being.
If you are into Midyears, it would probably be to your advantage to get a good package deal while you scam lots of extra parts from my stash. For example, maybe those true NOS F41 shocks on my shelf appeal to you for this car or another?
If this is to be your one and only Midyear, then most of the original parts that came off the car are nice enough to use again and you could save some money on the final deal without all the extras......

Glass??
I have all the original date coded tinted glass for this car (including windshield). Due to the typical wiper scratch, I was going to replace the windshield with a correct date coded repro but haven't as of yet.

What's missing??
You made me think about this one. I'd say only a couple of significant items. I don't have a new radiator core center section (but do have the original exterior tanks).
Also don't have the bumpers from this car. I used them on another 66 of mine and haven't got around to replacing them yet. I do have some old bumper cores but they aren't nice enough in my book to use on this car (I tend to be very picky).

Drivetrain stuff??
Engine has been completely rebuilt to stock specs and has been run in place on the chassis after installation. Trans was rebuilt, rear diff was rebuilt, alternator was sent out and restored, T.I. distributor was sent out and restored (not yet installed, ran rebuilt engine with standard points dist), etc....

Thanks for the inquiries!! Charles
