Just for Safety concerns, in your first picture you show the Stop Arm not yet engaged in the Stop Notch....you should raise the unit a little higher until the Stop Arm snaps into the Notch.....then lower the lift until the load is now on the stop blocks.....right now the load is on the Cables and hydraulic system.......if one of the corner cables gave away right now, the unit would cant down on one position and the possibility exists the the Stop could miss the stop surface and you would have a teetering mess on your hands.......the construction of your lift is exactly the same as mine with the cable problems........Beware
