For God's sake everybody just give the guy a break. He can sell it any way he wants to. Think about this for a moment: he's selling a family heirloom to pay for his Dad's medical care. It wasn't bought as an investment, or to pay for his kid's college or to buy a house. He's selling it to keep his Dad alive. You think that doesn't hurt enough?
I think we've all seen enough ebay BS out there to last a lifetime, where someone will be the high bidder and then never appears with the funds, or was just bidding for fun. If he has a guy who wants that car now and has cash in hand he should take it because there is no guarantee that the ebay high bidder is going to go through with the deal at the end of the day.
