What is going to happen when all of the manufacturing in the US goes to other countries? We are going to continue to buy overseas? Our wealth is being transferred to other nations at an alarming rate. Everyone talks about independence from oil because we are at the mercy of other countries. What is going to happen when we are at the mercy of other countries for everything that is manufactured? We are going to have to start paying higher prices for everything. As the economies other countries develop it becomes as expensive to manufacture in those countries as it does in the US.
Who has really been helped by $40 bicycles? The poor? No... they just don't realize that the manufacturing business that they worked at no longer is in business because Wal Mart demanded lower prices year over year and in order to survive they had to move manufacturing to China.

Walmart moves about 100,000 containers every couple of months into the US from China... that is alot of overseas manufacturing folks!

I personally applaud Snapper Lawnmowers... read about it here...Snapper...the Company who said NO to Walmart
