I'm still wondering if this engine wasn't originally "Dealer installed" into a 67 Chevelle that was from the Chicago area.
I got a Muncie trans with the engine that has a 67 Chevelle partial VIN on it. I know that's a long shot, but I do have some ability to trace this back and am working on it.
