I have a Fuji S5100...and Dennis Cumby has an S5200? (the newer version of mine). When I bought mine...it was $350 plus another hundred for the 16mb card...


I think Dennis paid in the high 200's for his...and the extra memory cards are ~$100 for 1 GB of storage. My camera is 4.9 or 5 megapixel...

I like mine, because like an SLR...you can override everything (Aperature, shutter speed, etc.) and shoot the way that you want to...or you can leave it fully automatic.

It has a burst mode, (Taking pics in rapid fire sucession) a movie mode (the Chevelle burn out movies were made with this camera) and also has the ability to screw on filters on the front of the camera. Finally, you can look throught the eyepiece (Like an SLR...except what you are seeing is digital) or you can use the view screen on the back of the camera to take shots also (battery hog!)
