Just got back home from another great Supercar Reunion...What a fun weekend! Was nice to see old friends as always, but it was also great to see lots of new cars and new people too! I know i say it every year, but this show just keeps getting better and better. From Thursday's parking lot party to Friday's racing and wrenching, to the banquet and late night viewing of the supercars, followed by more parking lot party and of course the big show on Saturday, It couldn't have been a better weekend. I had a blast with my debut gig as "auctioneer", and want to personally thank all of you who bid, won, or at least didn't throw food at me.
It was my first try at something like that, and was totally taken by surprise when I was asked to give it a try. I know it wasn't without a couple mistakes on my part, but it was still a ton of fun. I was honored to be asked to help raise some money for such a great cause. To all the folks i met for the first time this weekend, cheers to you. I can't wait for next year and the 10th anniversary SCR, I've been to every one since #1, and each one seems to top the last. Thanks to the sYc and all its members.
