These questions will be easy for you guys and I appreciate the help. I refound a 70SS Ls-5 conv ( i think) today that was reported back in probally 79 to be smashed beyond repair. The guy that has it lets just say I have to be very gentle with flew off the handle when I asked him if it was ever smashed. No pictures allowed, etc.But interested in selling ( i think) I knew he had a mint
72 malibu conv that has now vanished and suspect she is now the 70. All the typical 70ss gear that I know to look for is in place but I would like some help on the following about 70 SS chevelles.
-did all 70 chevelles have the two piece brake rotors
-did they all have the plastic inner fenders
-was 70 the only year for the flat bottom windsheild washer container and the fluid level monitor option.
-did all chevelle big block cars have the adjustable lower steering shaft coupler
-was there a quicker ratio PS box on the 70 SS.
-were the dash vent louvers smooth black not textured only in 70.
-was there two different master cylinders 309 dual clip and single clip
-did only big blocks have the oval lower control arm bushings
-original exhaust tips welded on with no part numbers
-fan shroud same as 69 BB
-back up lights section in tail lights raised not flat like replacements.
-location of white plastic hood pin cables
-reinforcement welded to upper left training arm.
- Dual fuel lines
Any other items I should look for??
