Re: small block nationals
It's all about the 'fun factor', and for me there is no better 'high' than racing down the 1320. Part of the thrill is knowing that I'm in a real Yenko. I don't think I'd have the same feeling in a clone or a wanna-be car.
One of the keys to the Nova Nationals this year was to maintain the car count. These are tough times for car shows, and without a consistent car count the show can die - and we don't want that!! The NNN club has been going strong for 25 years, and that's pretty amazing considering the life expectancy for the average car club. The car count is important for the show, but there has to be something intangible behind the car count that keeps the club together - and NNN (and the sYc) has it!
