It is in the 68 assm manual. Unfortunately I did not take any pics of the car.
The bezel looked like a... errr god forbid I say this... a Mustang II auto shifter bezel. It was square and about 1" tall. the center where the shift indicator was located was arched and there was an illuminated indicator. It had the large boot like rubber seal just like the 67's.
I sold the car to MD in the early 90's. Don't have a name but have the VIN if anyone is interested in tracking it down. Was at time of sale numbers matching 43k miles RS/SS 396 325. Lemans Blue Blue Deluxe interior. Power drums, manual steering, missing the smog but manifolds were there.
