The color of the wheel inserts has been the topic of much debate over the years within the Yenko Deuce community, with no real conclusions yet - except that both black and charcoal have been found.
The set of NOS Magnums pulled from Yenko's shop are still in the Motorwheel boxes with yenko labels on them, and they are reportedly charcoal. Several cars have been found with black, others with charcoal, so it's still a tossup.
I painted mine black bec/ that is what I found on them, and they were original condition. I think the Wargo car has black, but I think Tommy K found charcoal on his original condition a/t deuce. So, it appears that both colors are applicable.
