I've ridden in the back seat of a Columbus Police Dept. MD-500 chopper, and before that I rode shotgun in their 2 seater Swietzer 300. These guys tell me that this is as close to daily aerobatic flying as you can get. I only puked once in 10 years. For me it was scary but the coolest experience of my life.
I have total respect for anybody that can drive rotary wing craft. It's like surfing, but while standing on a bowling ball.
The CPD guys do keep the city a safer place.
