The EH 3310 is the grand-daddy of the modern 3310, and was caried out as a "service carb" for many years after the Z16 Chevelles ceased production before being "refined" into the more common 3310's we're so familiar with today.
Over the years, Holley has made about a bazillion of them...fact is, they're one of the best, most versatile carbs Holley ever produced. The current versions available today are (IMO) a less appealing version with their secondary metering plate and straight leg boosters.
FWIW, other OEM carbs have made their way to the speed shop counters simply because they worked so well and were so versatile. The 1850 is another example.
