Annie again called and asked me to express her sincere appreciation for all that several people and organizations have done. She is still unable to get on-line (and stay there without getting dropped) and personally thank everyone now due to a Norton security issue that is effecting many people, me included.
She is still working the kitchen and canteen every day. Unfortunately, yesterday she drove approximately 20 miles in a blizzard only to get there and find a note that the SA was closed due to inclement weather conditions. How ironic since that is why the SA is needed in the first place and the people still needed hot food. She was
NOT happy.
She has received many offers of money and needed items from several people and just wanted everyone to know that she and the people of Springfield appreciate what you and the sYc have done for them. One of those offers completely overwhelmed her as it went way beyond any hopes the people may have had. Just goes to show where people are in a time of need.
