I sit back and ask myself, why do we worry about some other sites bad mouthing us, starting fights and costing us members? We seem to be doing a pretty good job of it ourselves. It is time that people realize that we are all entitled to our own opinions without being chastized for voicing them. If we were all sitting around a circle at a car show with beers in hand, many of these conversations would be shrugged off as men being boys and arguing for the sake of an argument. Anyone remember doing just that at Christmas time with our dads and uncles in the living room over eggnog? It is not likely that any of us would be asked to leave the circle because we don't all agree on who we voted for the president.
I think some of the other sites are succeeding in doing what they had hoped would happen and they never had to do anything but sit back and watch us self distruct. We did it all on our own and look like fools in the end. Does anyone here agree that it is
ABOUT TIME that we all get back to the hobby and allow people to voice their opinions without being hung out to dry and talk about the real reason we are all here? There are always going to be some that are just looking for a fight but for the most part, people are just adding their thoughts to the topic. I know many people that are afraid to voice anything on here for fear of not being accepted. I know that is one reason I seldom offer one.
