Re: 427 Baldwin Motion Nova For Sale
I didn't mean you, Jeff. I meant Hawaiian Camaro Jeff. Sorry for the confusion.
I am telling you that the offer to give more than asking price was made at 6 am this morning. I don't know what the seller is thinking or doing, but 6 am was when the larger offer was made and accepted. Everything after that, in my opinion, is the seller following the smell of money.
Guys, can you imagine this? You are cleaning out your attic. You run across a painting of some sea-scape. You know it is an original and that the painter was very good, but not much else. So, you think to yourself--"heck, I'll ask $200 for this thing. It should bring that?" Then, news of your painting gets out to the artsy-fartsy world and your phone goes nuts!! 6 am your phone rings and you talk to a guy who will give you way more than you are asking for it, so you say "heck yes-- DONE!"....BUT you continue to get these calls from everyone and thier dogs who are willing to fight over it. Crap, gotta go to work because we are down 1,000 units at the factory-- can't deal with this now. When you went to bed last night all you had was a car you thought you could get some money for instead of it continuing to sit and gather dust. Now, today you have some pretty heavy hitters FIGHTING over your car and willing to get into a bidding war over it-- and the denominations are enough to pay off your friggin' house. All the while thinking, man-- how much could I have gotten for this on eBay?
