I believe Spray Gun applied Acrylic Enamel with Hardener/Flatener such as PPG DelStar is more durable, than misc aeresol paint. You can also use SEM's RustShield in Semi-Gloss and add the hardner.
Having said all of that MANY people regularly use Krylon 1613, Rustoleum 7777, Plasti-Kote, Seymour (private label for Eastwood) etc etc. Let the other comments roll in!!!!!!
