Here is a majestic beauty that was in stark contrast to all the working class rides at the show. This is a 1939 Packard All Weather (as long as you are not the chauffeur) Cabriolet. There were eight of these made and this is the last year for the TWELVE cylinder motor. The owner bought the car in '99 in baskets and finished the resto locally in 2002. It is an AACA Senior 1st place winner. The workmanship and and attention to detail on this automobile were stunning. There was a register on the floor for the rear occupants to keep their tooties toasty. Owner paid $800.00 for the center cap on the horn! I was gonna try to impress him with the cost of an LS6 distributor, but thot better of it.
