Here's the reply letter from Ed Cole to Don Yenko, dated August 1, 1969, referring to the XP-887 (Vega)...It directly refers to the letter you posted above, in which Don wrote to Ed Cole his interest in the XP-887... I thought it was pretty cool how the president of GM made the comment that the car could use some "Yenko-izing"...
It seems Don and Ed Cole had a pretty close relationship, and communicated back and forth quite frequently. Also pretty cool that both of these letters survived some 35+ years... Tom, I think you should give me the one you have so I can have the set...
