Hello everyone and Happy Holidays ! Newbie on this board and just wanted to chime in my experience on this find.
When I spoke to Larry about two weeks ago I had made arrangements to fly to Green Bay from California. There was a link to this thread on Team Camaro where I am a member. When I checked this thread out I discovered that Larry was taking bids. My impression was that I could go there and make a firm deal to purchase, not just look and then have to bid . I cancelled my trip as I did not want to participate in that kind of deal.Larry was very nice on the phone. I spoke to him many times. He told me the two 57 Corvettes were not for sale as two of the family members of the previous owner wanted those cars back.He indicated to me that he would sell the lot for somewhere between 1mm and 1.1 million .
My interest was in the Yenko only. I have a friend who is a caretaker for a large car collection in N. California that was going to take the rest of the collection...all I want is a real 1969 , 427 Camaro...is that too much to ask
