68 Yenko in 1973
I'm fairly new to this site and wanted to add an experiance that I had back in 1973. I answered a local ad back then to a 68 gold colored Yenko Camaro that was bought in Florida and brought up here to Ohio. The guy was asking $2200 and I told him that I was going out looking for financing to purchase it. After going to 4 banks seeking financing, no one would loan me the money. Their reasoning was that that was too much to finance for a 5 year old car. Ironic how a car that was priced at $2200 was too much for a used car and today bring in the $125,000-$200,000 range. You just never know.
