Default Re: Looking for info on my old car a 1970 yenko deuce

Al, I am the owner of the Citrus Green Deuce you once owned. I did in fact contact you back in '97 when I was conducting a history search which took over five months. With the information you and all the other owners provided, I was able to compile the vehicle's history. The car was titled 16 times (me being number 16). It was titled in your fathers name and yours. A muscle car dealer in Bloomington, Illinois owned it twice. I guess you could say that I am the fourteenth owner. It took me four years to restore the car. I tried to restore it as close as I could to its original condition with the exception of headers and the Atlas wheels which were available from Yenko as an option. The machine work, paint and upholstery were the only things I didn't do myself. Everything else was done by me with the help of a lot of good friends. Marlin Spotts was with me from the very beginning, even before I purchased the car, providing invaluable information and advice. Without their help, knowledge and patience my lifelong dream of owning a Yenko Deuce would never of been realized. The picture posted earlier in this thread is when I had the car at SCR7. It just doesn't get any better than when other owners bring their interest and passion together for these rare Supercars.
