. I look at the ad and it says "The" (and I emphasize "The") original trans/rear. So, the trans will have the VIN and the rear axle should be "The" one that came with the car from Chevy and was attached by the driveshaft to "The" original trans. So, I read the ad as these two components being the ones it left the factory with. - And the beat goes on....
