Rob,
I sent you the CD showing many of the inspection marks I have come across. The interesting thing is they sometimes differ from plant to plant which I did not expect. In addition to what you found on the tie rod ends, I seem to always find orange on the tie rod adjusting sleeve. You had also asked me about drive shafts. Attached is a photo of one of two original LS-6 shafts that I have. They are both very similar but are different from all the others that I have had. Instead of a pink/blue/pink stripe or blue/pink/blue, these both have VERY large pink and blue stripes and both have a smaller orange band. I have never seen that before.
