Just got an interesting call from a friend that used to own the cop car, unbeknownst to me. Has full history on it and is looking for considerable paperwork that the guy he sold it to kept. Has all docs from new and a really cool history. He told me how to work the gauges, too...both speedos are certified and there is a switch to throw the feed to one and then the other to double certify the bad guy's speed in high speed pursuits!
I just drove it and it is one hell of a cool car. Very, very fast and solid on the freeway, even on old bias ply tires. Car really comes alive over 75 mph. I can now see how they caught guys in the days of slow radios. LOL
