Default Re: `65-`67 Chevelle / El Camino 12 bolt housing?

Eric, When you say EARLY housing what is the difference between the early and old units?
I have one drum to drum that was taken out of an ELCO but I am not sure what year. It has
a 4:10 gear. Hear is the clincher..... The lower control arm brackets were cut off and they
welded leaf spring pads on it. I was going to pull the gears and unit out for another project.
The upper sway bar mounts are in place. The spring pads will come off easily, and it’s not a
problem welding on new control arm mounts. I don’t know how involved you want to get but
If you’re interested come and get it. You did me right with the 4557 I brought off of you so if
possible I would like to return the favor somehow…

BTW, Your carb’s are still the standard that other Carb Restorers hope to achieve
