I hope it doesn't too. This is the engine that was in the car when I bought it. I have never been happy with it's performance and planned to rebuilt or replace it this winter. Looks like I'll get an early start on it.

My sediments exactly.Bought this car used and one never knows what they are truly getting.Motor ran great until this so now it's time to build a killer roller-cam 302...if the motor is salvageable that is.
If not,here comes that monster crate motor (that aluminum head Bill Mitchell 427 small block is starting to look real good!
