Like Marlin said, there's very good info, and friendly folks over at Steve's geared towards novas. Lotta members from this site are also members over there.
The areas at the bottom of the front fenders are always a problem. They trap moisture between the sheetmetal, and brace causing rust to form inbetween.
Those 72's run pretty well. My son Joe has a 72 ralley nova that with a little modification would run 14.90s pretty consistently. Even with a 2.73 rear.
