We have these stupid building codes on the coast here because of hurricanes, Tell me if this makes sense... We have to install what is called Storm Glass which is esentially bullet proof glass to withstand the winds, Now the best part is we have to use egress windows in the bedrooms which is a window a fireman can climb into with a full pack. Problem is he can no longer break the glass to get in so whats the sense. I talked to the idiots who created this code and explained to them that if a Hurricane comes I have a few days to get my family out and to a safe place but if there is an unexpected fire in the middle of the night the firemen cant save us because they cant get into the house...They couldnt give me an answer
