Default Re: realistic price for 70 Z-28

Based on the original post.....frame off, correct components execpt NOM, and documents would put this car in the 30's somewhere in my opinion but I know prices can always be debated. I've had my eye out for a correct documented 70Z for quite awhile and they just don't appear that often which is why I'm including 71Z's in my hunt. Most of these Z's have been modified or lived a tougher life. I have someone checking on a 70Z this week that I may or may not take a pass on. Prices on these models have been on a quick rise in the last year like many others.

If anyone is looking for a 70Z I would be happy to share what I know about the one someone is examining for me this week....if I take a pass on it.

Some fella in Michigan had a very nice unrestored 70Z listed with very low miles earlier this year. He changed his mind and took it off the market....probably got a zillion phone calls and learned the car was worth more than he realized. This car would have been a bargain at his listed price of mid 40's if I remember correctly.
