Hmmm so what would you think a 1970 Z/28 with solid body and complete interior but missing the motor and tranny would be worth? Car is solid but needs restoring. In your opinion. I am being serious and find this topic interesting.

Rick, honestly I don't know.

I was specifically looking for a correctly done car. After a while I realized that was going to be next to impossible at any price so I started looking for something that was pretty close but might need minor work. Thats why I damn near cried when I missed Jack's car the 1st time and why I was bound and determined not to miss it twice

From what I've seen though, if you mean NO motor/trans then probably dirt cheap. Like under 10K. Maybe way under? If you mean wrong motor/trans then obviously more. I know one thing. Finding a car like that isn't hard. Obviously people haven't been restoring 70's the way they have 69's. At least not yet.
