I wonder if the prices will hold up after the generation who is paying the big numbers for the cars is gone?
During the 70's and 80's big numbers were paid for brass era cars that are not near as valuable, or at least have not had any price inflation in the last 20 years.
If the kids now want restored Hondas and Nissans in 30-40 years then I would venture to guess that the "average" muscle car will not gain the ground that they are experiencing now. The high end cars (Hemis, ZL-1s, etc)
will probably continue to rise as long as there are collectors because there are so few of them.
